80% cotton and 20% polyester, with scrim. Super-Soft 80/20 combines the softness and breathability of cotton with the durability and stability of polyester. Excellent for machine quilting, Super-Soft Cotton Wadding is made from high quality ethically manufactured cotton with UltraClean carding used to ensure the removal of all impurities that may tarnish finished quilts or damage machine needles. Made with long-staple cotton and the softest polyester – no chemicals, no bleaching.

Information on usage

• Machine or hand quilt up to 25cm (10 inches) apart.
• Pre-washing is not necessary – once quilted, machine or hand wash using a mild detergent in cold water and dry flat. For machine washing, use a delicate cycle.
• Up to 5% shrinkage can be expected in the first wash using cold water. This will give your quilt the perfect antique wrinkled look.
• While there is no need to wash prior to use, if you wish to do so, hand wash and dry naturally. Use cool water and mild detergent and soak for 15 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel and dry naturally by laying flat.
• Do not machine wash or dry before quilting
