Description
A sewing pattern to make this fabulously stylish yet practical jacket. This is a lined, lightweight, generous fitting jacket which is layered with wadding, so it's nice and cosy. Leave the wadding out for a summer jacket- it’s a perfect jacket for all seasons.

Bibi has curved side vent details and sleeves that you can roll back if required. With two quilted patch pockets, the jacket is fastened with five 25mm (1") buttons, however snap fasteners or ties can be used as an alternative. The jacket is quilted with a choice of two quilt lines ('criss cross' or 'tramlines') both are marked on the pattern pieces. Pre-quilted fabric or patchwork fabric are good alternatives.

Bibi Jacket is sized from Small (UK 8-10), Medium (UK 12-14), Large (UK 16-18), XL (UK 20-22), 2XL (UK 24-26). Please note that instructions are written in English only with metric and imperial measurements.

Fabric suggestions
Outer and lining: any light- to medium-weight cotton fabric. Wadding: Vilene fusible fleece H640, 2 oz polyester wadding or any quilting batting (it's great to use up leftover batting from previous quilting projects). You will also need five 25mm (1”) buttons and a reel of thread.

Useful equipment
A walking foot and buttonhole machine attachments, quilter’s ruler, bias tape maker (if making your own binding), tailor’s chalk or an invisible marking pen.
