Updates from Coles Sewing Centre

Important Announcement from Neil and Rose at Coles Sewing Centre

January 25 Update

We are excited to announce that Coles Sewing Centre is transitioning to new ownership as Rose and Neil, after 29 years prepare for their well-deserved retirement.

This change is taking place in a new location in the Nottingham area, and we are currently progressing through the necessary legal processes.

We want to assure you that our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains our top priority during this transition.

The current Coles team will relocate and continue in their roles, ensuring that you receive the same exceptional service and support that you have come to expect from us. We believe this transition will enhance your experience with us, and we can’t wait to share more details with you soon.

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to Coles Sewing Centre and look forward to this exciting new chapter together.

Best regards, The Coles Sewing Centre Team

Rose and Neil would like to cordially invite you to a special farewell celebration.

Join them in store for light refreshments on Saturday, February 8th, between 11am & 3pm

Stay tuned for more updates!

We are delighted to share that Coles Sewing Centre will remain open at our current location until mid-February 2025 ! This extension allows us to continue providing you with the excellent service you’ve come to expect from us.

Our shop is operating as usual, and our mail order service is still available, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. We’ve also added extra dates to our class calendar for December and are thrilled to announce that more classes will be available in January.

Plus, our service centre is here for all your repair and servicing needs, with a current turnaround of approximately 7 days.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks!

June 2024

Dear Customer,

As we celebrate our 28th year in business, we find ourselves entering a new chapter. Our lease on Lower Parliament Street ends in December, and as we approach retirement age, we feel it is the right time to step back.

We have put the business up for sale in the hope that we can find a buyer who will bring continuity to the vibrant community you have helped us to create at Coles Sewing Centre. If we are unable to find a buyer, however, we will sadly have to close our doors in December.

Should we not find a new owner, we want to reassure you that our service department will continue operating from a new location. All machine warranties will be honoured, and we will continue to provide sewing machine servicing and repairs.

We will continue to trade throughout the summer and autumn and our classes will continue to run until December.

We have enjoyed serving all our customers, in the UK and around the world, and would like to thank you all for your support. It has been a fantastic journey!

We would also like to thank all our team members past and present, especially our current team who have helped us to survive the most recent challenges of business, including the pandemic.

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in running a successful, relocatable business with wonderful, loyal customers and incredible staff, please reach out to Neil directly at neil@colessewingcentre.co.uk.

Thank you once again for your support and friendship over the years.

Best Wishes,

Rose & Neil
