For use with denim and similar fabrics, such as twill and canvas. For penetrating extra thick woven fabrics, denims, or quilts with minimum needle deflection, reducing the risk of needle breakage and skipped stitches. Fit all household sewing machine brands.

Features a modified medium ball point and reinforced blade; the advanced point design is a Schmetz exclusive. The medium ball point displaces the fabric threads and penetrates the gaps. This allows the needle to penetrate through solid, thick fabrics more easily without damaging the material. It also requires a lower force of penetration, resulting in less needle breakage. The special blade design ensures high needle stability and thus reduces needle breakage and skipped stitches. This makes it easy to handle even thick layers of material.
